My nesting continues. However, it has become necessary that it take on a more sedentary nature. Sitting still is hard for me. I've never been much good at it. I'm trying to listen to my body (and the sweet baby inside) while they are asking nicely... to slow down.
My sewing machine has seen very little action lately. It sits in my little corner, sadly collecting dust. I thought it could use a good cleaning. Indeed it did!
With a fresh machine, a pastry, some coffee, an ipod loaded with thought-provoking material,
even a serious sewing hair-do....who knows what can happen!?!
I hope to have some finished projects to share soon. Stay tuned.
Very cute. Thanks for the reminder I need to make my Phoebe some of these.

Sometimes, sitting "still" requires a lot of effort too! Good luck to you...

You found Apostles online! Isn't it awesome? Josh visited when he was there last and *if* we move, it would be our church. I love the teaching. And..um, you're really cute in that fancy headband :) Glad you are sewing.

Hi Libby,
I have followed your blog for about six months now. Can't even remember how I found it. I admire all that you do, and I must admit that I wish I knew how you do it. I am a mum to beautiful 4 and 2 year old boys, and am expecting a third (not sure what it is yet). By the way, I always expected to have girls and although I was surprised at first, having boys has been the most wonderful joy for me. You are in for a treat.
We are in the beginning stages of homeschooling, and I also work part-time from home. I feel overwhelmed right now and can't seem to get a regular schedule together. I would love to get some advice from you on how you find time to sew, let alone homeschool your beautiful girls so well. Is there a particular schedule you follow? I would love to go to bed feeling like I looked after my little ones well, made time for the Lord, and even myself.
Thanks so much,
Nicole

Since having my four children I have adopted a policy of never sitting down as it seems to be the only way to avoid falling asleep!
