Fruitful Fusion

So many yummy meal ideas! Thanks!!!

You are such a healthy eater...so many lovely salads and veggies! Are you always this healthy or are you dieting? (too many questions? :) I only ask b/c I am on a low calorie diet to lose 10-15 lbs and I'm trying to rediscover a love for veggies. It's hard sometimes! ;)

Kristen: I revamped my diet back at the first of the year. I cut out wheat, sugar, and limit carbs (like brown rice, oatmeal, and beans) to very small portions every other day. I pretty much stick to lean protein, veggies, a bit of fruit, yogurt (or cottage cheese), whole milk in my coffee, and some nuts. I don't do crackers, cereal, chips, bread, sweets, or much alcohol (just a small glass about 1x/week). So far I've lost 18 lbs and feel amazing!!! Ian was recently weaned and so "operation take my body back" is well underway! Good luck!
